Youth
Climate Change Conference Goal
The Youth Climate Change Conference (YC3)
is a youth-lead initiative, focused on action,
alternatives, and solutions for a changing
world: We are bringing together experts
with young leaders, for a call to action
creating long lasting positive effects.
YC3 will give youth the skills, support
structure, and empowerment to lead the challenge
of climate change. YC3 is taking a original
holistic approach, focusing on root causes
and strategies for concrete steps towards
a sustainable society.
YC3 Objectives
- To
give youth the knowledge of the root causes
of climate change, in a holistic view;
- To
challenge youth to rethink how society operates,
searching for sustainable alternatives;
- To
give youth a broad support structure and
an extensive tool kit to apply to their
personal and collective action plans;
- To
create an active network of Canadian youth
to support effective youth action after
the YC3 event.
